Troxel LLC, the worldwide leader in ASTM/SEI-certified equestrian helmets, announces the launch of their redesigned low profile Sierra western helmet, the result of years spent on research and development efforts based on customer feedback.

The Sierra helmet has been completely redesigned with an entirely new low profile, but will be instantly familiar to the hundreds of thousands of Sierra helmet owners around the world. Engineered for riding extremes, the Sierra’s new riveted Cordura® and leather covering not only looks good, but also withstands the toughest terrain on the trail.

The Sierra’s excellent ventilation, self-adjusting CinchFit™ Pro and mesh covered vents have made it the trail rider’s number one helmet choice, the company said.

To celebrate the new look, Troxel has teamed up with product ambassador Julie Goodnight, Jeffers Pet and Westgate River Ranch for an enter-to-win “Sierra Sweepstakes,” running August 15 – September 15 on Troxel’s Facebook page: (https://www.facebook.com/TroxelHelmets).

Available in black, tan and an updated modern brown, the redesigned Sierra will be available in September 2013 from select retailers and catalogs at an MSRP of $119.95.
